The Hornets are depicted taxying and taking off for a mission in Kosovo during the Balkan campaign.

A very small print run due to the more niche nature of this image, Balkan Strikers is limited to 60 prints for the main edition. Each print is signed by the artist and by five Kosovo F-18 veterans.

Good News - Artists Gallery Storage Memory Increased to 5MB!

We are happy to announce that we have increased the storage memory for each member account in the Artists Gallery to 5 MB!

Previously, each eHangar.com member had only 1 MB of storage space.

What this means is that if you are an aviation artist, you can now store more images of your aviation art original paintings and prints in the Artists Gallery.

Untouchable by Dru Blair

Aviation artist Dru Blair has released a new set of limited edition prints depicting the famed Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance aircraft.
While there are many aviation art images of the A-12's more famous competitor and eventual successor - the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird - this is, to my knowledge, the first aviation art print depicting this revolutionary aircraft and Dru's offering helps address this disparity. This is the first A-12 painting included in the eHangar.com Aviation Art Prints Directory.
Untouchable depicts the first official sortie flown by an A-12 on May 31, 1967. Piloted by Mel Vojvodich, this first Black Shield operation was flown over North Vietnam to photograph Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) sites. Mele flew the A-12 at Mach 3.1 at 80,000 ft.

Robert Taylor's latest offering is - yes - yet another Spitfire print! But what a print.
Eagle Force features Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb's of 71 Squadron RAF, piloted by American volunteers, almost silhouetted against a gorgeous backdrop that showcases why Robert Taylor is considered one of the foremost aviation artists in the world.

Dawn Sortie by Gerald Coulson

Dawn Sortie is Gerald Coulson's first limited edition print offering for 2008, published by the Military Gallery.

This unusual, panoramic, format painting features the Supermarine Spitfire MkI set during late 1940, is reminiscent of Coulson's typical sky scapes. It should look quite nice when framed up due to its unusual shape. Even the brochure detailing the print is in panoramic format, unlike the normal two-fold larger A4 sizes the Military Gallery prints.
